Chlorine dioxide generator
Chlorine dioxide generator
Equipment: Pricing and Features of Various Di-oxygen Generators
brief introduction
Zeyan Zongheng (Shandong) Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. is a professional manufacturer of chlorine dioxide generators. The ZY series – including chemical and electrolytic chlorine dioxide generators, sodium hypochlorite generators, AB agent disinfectors, slow-release disinfectors, and disinfectant dosing devices – are patented, high-tech water treatment systems developed, researched, designed, and manufactured by our company. These systems employ a chemical negative-pressure aeration process using sodium chlorate and hydrochloric acid as raw materials to efficiently produce a mixed chlorine dioxide and chlorine disinfectant solution. This solution finds wide application in the disinfection and algacide treatment of drinking water and various water supply systems; in the disinfection and sterilization of wastewater discharged from swimming pools, hospitals, and enterprises; in the sterilization and algacide treatment of industrial circulating cooling water; as well as in the decolorization, deodorization, or removal of reducing pollutants from industrial wastewater, papermaking effluents, and textile wastewater.
1. Chemical method:
The Chemical Chlorine Dioxide Generator – Negative Pressure Aeration Process is equipment designed to produce chlorine dioxide using a mixed disinfectant consisting primarily of sodium chlorate and hydrochloric acid (with effective chlorine accounting for approximately 70%) and chlorine gas (accounting for approximately 30%). When the yield of the reaction raw materials exceeds 70%, this chemical chlorine dioxide generator is referred to as a Chemical (High-Efficiency Composite) Chlorine Dioxide Generator.
Reaction principle: Heating – 2NaClO₃ + 4HCl → 2NaCl + 2H₂O + Cl₂ + 2CO₂
Raw material: Sodium chlorate (GB/T 1618–2008 – Industrial Grade I; content ≥ 99%)
Hydrochloric acid: (GB320-2006 – Industrial Grade 1; concentration ≥ 31%)
Raw materials and auxiliary substances: Sodium chlorate (solid, 99% purity): water in a ratio of 1:2, resulting in a mass concentration of 33%; concentrated hydrochloric acid (containing HCl) at 30%.
Feed ratio: Sodium chlorate solution and hydrochloric acid are fed in a ratio of 1:1.

2. Electrolytic method
The ZYD series chlorine dioxide generator is the latest water disinfection equipment developed by Zhongyan Jiye Company. Its operating principle involves the use of a bidirectional motor and a novel diaphragm electrolysis technology to electrolyze saline water, producing chlorine dioxide and chlorine gas, which are then absorbed by a water ejector to prepare a disinfectant solution.
Reaction principle: 2NaCl + 3H₂O → Cl₂O₂ + 2NaOH + 2H₂↑
Depending on their internal structure and dosing method, these devices can be classified into the ZYD Electrolytic Chlorine Dioxide Generator and the ZYC Sodium Hypochlorite Generator.
Raw material ratio: Add large-grained salt to the salt tank until the tank is water-saturated.
Reaction raw material yield: The raw material conversion rate is 90% for both cases.
