Spiral sand water separator
Spiral sand water separator
Spiral sand water separator
Overview and Scope of Application
The spiral sand water separator is suitable for the sedimentation tank of sewage treatment plants (stations) and is an equipment for treating sand water mixtures in sewage treatment.
Working principle
The sand water mixture is input into the water tank from the top of one end of the separator. The heavier parts of the mixture, such as sand particles, will settle at the bottom of the groove. Under the push of the spiral blades, the sand particles will lift along the inclined U-shaped groove bottom and continue to move a certain distance away from the liquid surface. After the sand particles are fully dehydrated, they will be discharged into the sand bucket through the sand discharge port, and the water separated from the sand will be discharged from the overflow port to achieve the purpose of sand water separation. In addition, a cylindrical cyclone pre separator can be designed at the inlet of the sand water separator. Sewage enters the vortex along the tangent direction of the cylinder, causing sand particles to sink into the spiral separator. The overflow liquid returns to the sedimentation tank or grid well, serving as a pre sedimentation tank and regulating the water volume, improving the separation effect of the sand water separator.
Purpose
Used in the sedimentation tank of sewage treatment plants to separate the sand and water mixture discharged from the sedimentation tank.
