Inclined tube sedimentation tank
The inclined-tube (or inclined-plate) sedimentation tank is a high-efficiency modular sedimentation device designed based on the shallow tank sedimentation theory. Numerous dense arrays of inclined tubes or inclined plates are installed within the sedimentation zone, allowing suspended impurities in the water to settle there. As the water rises along the inclined tubes or plates, the separated sludge is carried downward by gravity along these inclined surfaces toward the bottom tank and then discharged collectively. This type of tank can increase sedimentation efficiency by 50–60%, enhance treatment capacity by 3–5 times for the same surface area, and generate economic benefits; it is commonly used in conjunction with other wastewater treatment equipment.

This device incorporates numerous sedimentation units consisting of parallel inclined plates with small spacing or parallel inclined pipes with small diameter, which enhances both the sedimentation efficiency and the effluent yield—particularly demonstrating remarkable effectiveness in removing dispersed particles. The ZYXG inclined tube sedimentation tank is widely used in the treatment of industrial wastewater, domestic sewage, coal mine drainage water, and wastewater from non-ferrous metal processing industries; in the solid–liquid treatment of wastewater generated from hydronic dust removal at power plants and boiler rooms; in the treatment of washing water at gas processing plants; in the treatment of biochemical wastewater; and as a pre-treatment step for water supply purification.
